Informed. Empowered.
Science-based mental health information, to put your life back in your hands.
Hello!
/
Thank you for visiting The Mental Trust Blog. My name is Châu, and I am a psychiatrist. I am also a mother of two, a wife, a daughter and an older sister. This is my personal blog, where I share information about mental health in plain, approachable language.
Even within my own field, I don’t have answers to every question, and I don’t want to impose my personal views on readers. I believe you are the expert on your own life. Your experiences, wishes and what matters to you deserve to be heard and respected. Everyone’s journey is different: sometimes we find our own way through difficulties, and sometimes we need others to walk alongside us, including support from professionals like us.
This blog is a community-oriented project. It aims to gather reliable, science-based information from sources around the world and share it in Vietnamese, explained simply and clearly.
Alongside professional information, I also share my journey of becoming a psychiatrist, life behind the clinic door, and stories about mental health. I write novels, too.
I hope the information and stories here help you better understand what you or your loved ones are going through, and give you a stronger basis for choices that fit your own circumstances and wishes.
The mission of The Mental Trust Blog is Informed. Empowered. I hope information of this blog will help you trust your ability to choose and decide, and step by step take back ownership of your life.
Wishing you happiness.
